Program Cost
On Campus Program: The tuition for the on-campus program this year is $3900. This covers tuition, room and board. We fully expect to be able to host students using some of the same protocols that HWS successfully employed this academic year.
If you are accepted, a $500 deposit is required within two weeks to reserve a space in the Institute and the tuition balance is due by June 15th.
Online Payment
ESSYI works hard to keep the cost of our program as low as possible. We essentially operate as a non-profit enterprise. Because we are charged for processing credit cards, we encourage our students to pay with a debit card, check, bank transfer, or money order.
To pay by check, make it out to “ESSYI” and send it to Professor Jamie MaKinster, ESSYI, 300 Pulteney St., Geneva, NY 14456. Please include the student’s name at the bottom if the parent or guardian’s last name is different. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept checks from banks outside the United States.
To pay online by bank transfer or debit/credit card, click on the link below. You will need your 9-digit enrollment ID number to log in, which will be sent in a confirmation email once your application is accepted. For a bank transfer, you will need your bank name, the account type (checking or savings), and your routing and account numbers (which can be found on a check for a checking account).

College Credit
Upon successful completion of the program, students receive one course credit at HWS, which is equivalent to four semester hours or credit hours at other institutions.
At the end of the program, you will receive a credit report and a certificate of completion. You can request an official transcript from the Registrar of HWS if you decide to transfer credit to another undergraduate institution. Please note that each college and university has its own policies on transferring credit. http://www.hws.edu/offices/registrar/services.aspx (see bottom of page – Transcripts)
