ESSYI works hard to keep the cost of our program as low as possible. We essentially operate as a non-profit enterprise, attempting to balance our budget each year. Because we are charged on a percentage basis for processing credit cards (4%), we encourage our students to pay with a check, money order, or bank transfer. Payments through the previous link can be made through major credit cards and wire transfers.

Check – regular bank checks can made out to ESSYI (please include the student’s name at the bottom if the parent’s/guardian’s last name is different). Unfortunately, we are unable to accept checks from banks outside the United States.

Wire transfer – wire transfers from checking and savings accounts (also known as direct bank transfers) from domestic and international bank accounts are accepted. In order to send a wire, you provide your bank with the following information about Hobart and William Smith Colleges:

HWS Bank: JP Morgan Chase Bank, 1 Chase Plaza, New York, NY 10004

HWS USA Fedwire Routing No. (ABA): 021000021

HWS Chips Participant No.: 0002

HWS SWIFT BIC CODE: CHASUS33

HWS credit account: 816381214

International wire transfers are also accepted through the PeerTransfer website (www.peertransfer.com/school/hws).

Credit cards – Major credit cards are accepted.

Cash – cash will be accepted for those living nearby or visiting the campus.

College Credit

Upon successful completion of the program, students receive one course credit at HWS, which is equivalent to four semester hours or credit hours at other institutions.

At the end of the program, you will receive a credit report and a certificate of completion. You can request an official transcript from the Registrar of HWS if you decide to transfer credit to another undergraduate institution. Please note that each college and university has its own policies on transferring credit. http://www.hws.edu/offices/registrar/services.aspx (see bottom of page – Transcripts)
